Walk for Education 2004
U of T chapter, in conjunction with PDK International, held its first Walk for education.
The local chapter participants met at the Metro Central YMCA. After registration, participants went for five laps of Queen's Park Circle in the brilliant sunshine.
Walks were held in more than 50 locations throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
H. A. Halbert School was the most active in fund-raising, with a total of over $700. Principal Carolyn Moras noted that the money was vital in supporting the school's nutrition program. Other schools and organizations which benefitted included York Humber High School and the Toronto Educational Opportunity Fund.

Past Presidents' Luncheon 2004
In November University of Toronto Chapter Past Presidents assembled for lunch, laughter, and catching up. With such a busy and involved group, not everyone could attend. However those who were able each contributed a highlight of their time as president of the chapter. The highlights range from raising the Canadian flag at international headquarters to the inclusion of women into PDK membership for the first time. Their comments were recorded for posterity.
